Quick Myspace Profit Strategy

Myspace gives you the option of customizing the top space of your blog. Some people may write something cute and stupid...Me, I put ad banners for my affiliate links there. But, I make sure that the stuff I'm promoting is related to my blog and the readers I send to it.

Open up your myspace blog and click on "Customize". Look for a box that allows you to "Add Your Own Header HTML" and add a banner from the program you're promoting (w/ your affiliate link).

Now, you have a permanent ad posted on your blog for all your readers to see!

I hope that your blog is specific to a specific niche of interest. If not, create a new profile and make a new blog that targets a group of individuals based on what you're advertising.

Here's how you can REALLY promote your blog and the ads that it contains...

Think of a keyword that describes what your niche is all about. Now, goto the Myspace Groups (just click "Groups" on the menu bar). At the bottom will be a keyword search. Type in your keyword and you'll see groups that are interested and based around your keyword. Go into each of these groups, and add these people as friends.

But, it doesn't stop there. After sending a friend request, go back to their profile page, and click on "View All Blog Entries". Go into their blog and click "Invite to My Blog". So, not only will they see your friend request, they'll see your blog subscription request. This is sooo helpful for promoting your blog, because once these friends subscribe, they'll be notified of every time you post a blog. So, they'll visit your blog and be bombarded with your ad at the top of the screen.

So, with your blog, add friends that are related to your blog by searching for them in myspace groups, and then invite them to subscribe to your blog. Another place to find individuals that are niche related is to cruise throught the actual myspace forums and classifieds. Find a folder in the forums that's related to what you're promoting and add those people. Do a keyword search in the classifieds section and add those people, too.

Now, when it comes down to actually posting to your blog, write articles related to what you're promoting. You can easily find articles from www.ezinearticles.com and just repost them to your blog. You have to keep fresh content in your blog so that your readers won't unsubscribe. When they do that, you have just lost a fresh lead.

Also, once you post a blog, drop a bulletin and let your whole friends list know about it. The bulletin is a great way to reach out to one and all, and let them know about your blog posts.

A couple months ago, I was fortunate to get in touch with the author of 'The Joel Method'. Me and Ryan definitely have a lot in common, and I appreciate our conversation we had.

But...he also let me have a copy of his latest ebook 'The Joel Method'. Now, 'The Joel Method' is mostly about the importance of Google Groups, and how to implement marketing strategies within it, to pull some big bucks really quickly.

Joel, the actual guy that the ebook is written about, uses Google Groups to get traffic to his money making websites on a daily basis. Supposedly, he's also going to college for theological studies (being a clergy)...so I guess he can't lie when he cosigns on the sales page.

I read it, I like it. It's a short guide at a cheap price, but the information is priceless. Honestly, I have yet to come across another ebook that really dwells, let alone mentions Google Groups, and how to effectively promote via this service.

How Failure Is Not Your Fault, and I'll Personally Change That For You!

The fact of the matter is, they purposely overload you with content. What happens when you reach information overload? You get confused. You don't know where to start. And in the end, since you're so frazzled, you do nothing and call it a 'scam' or a 'bunch of crap'.

Then they come out with the high-ticket 'automated solution', and you're all over it like white on rice. In a sense, it seems so cruel and so greedy of these marketers to do this purposely to you. But, the fact of the matter is still the same...it's strictly business. It's all planned out days, weeks, months, even YEARS before they even offer a thing to you. It's a part of their business plan.

They know they want to get a specific amount of money from you, but they know that you're not going to shell out a bunch of money to a stranger. That's why they have the introductory product, then the 'back end' products. The intro product is to get you to trust them, and respect their knowledge. All at the same time, it gets you confused as hell, yet you still trust the guy.

Once they have your trust, they pitch the 'automated solutions' and get the rest of the money from you that they planned to take all along.

I know you're not dumb, and I'm sure you've already figured this out. I figured it out a long time ago myself before I started seeing success.

So, how do people actually see success from the products they buy? Easy...it all comes down to the way they focus and pace themselves. They focus on what they want to learn, and then pace themselves to learn it all piece by piece until they fully understand it, and know it like the back of their hand.

I'll give you a good analogy to think about...

Imagine back to when you were in grade school. They taught you on a day-by-day basis. They did it because, their goal is for you to learn the material so you can graduate and get out of their school. In the end, you spend 9-10 months in school. But when it's all said and done, you've learned something, and you remember it.

Now imagine if that same teacher decided not to teach you on a day to day basis. Imagine he/she just gave you a book, told you that the final test is in 9 months, and then never heard from them again.

Do you think you would graduate? NO. It's impossible. We need the teacher to break down the course into segments so that we can learn every little bit, piece by piece. We need the teacher to spell it all out for us, day by day. Why? because we don't know where to start!

So, do you really think that by purchasing an entire home study course or an entire slew of ebooks, that you'll learn what you need to? Only if you truly pace yourself, and have someone show you where to start.

In the 'make money online' niche, you're not going to find a single person who's willing to take it easy, and pace their learning. They want money NOW. There's no beating around the bush on that. People enter this niche, because they want money, and they don't want to wait for it another second. That's totally understandable, and I don't hate on them for that.

But it's that mentality that ensures that a vast majority of newcomers will not succeed. You have to pace yourself; you need guidance, examples and direction. And you can't get that from purchasing an entire informational package. And in the 'make money online' niche, the packages aren't going to give you that; and the customers of these packages aren't willing to sit and wait to pace their learning. They not willing to be patient to accept guidance and direction.

This is the ultimate formula for failure in the 'make money online' niche...sad to say. And the only people who are going to make off like bandits are the ones providing these massive informational packages.

Now you know why YOU haven't succeeded online yet. Seriously, IT'S NOT YOUR FAULT!

Even when people say it's because 'you're not taking action'...it's only partially true. But how can you take action, when you don't have to knowledge to take action with??? You've been so overloaded with content, that you don't absorb the knowledge like you should.

It's like the information's being thrown in your lap, instead of being delivered to you at a paced rate.

What Is The Best Way to Promote a Product Online as An Affiliate Marketer?

In affiliate marketing, there are many ways in which you can increase your earnings and maintain the account that you have worked so hard for already. Most of the techniques and tactics can be learned easily. No need to go anywhere and any further. They are available online, 24 hours a day and 7 days a week.

One of the more important ways of increasing affiliate marketing bottom line and sale is through the use of product recommendations. Many marketers know that this is one of the most effective ways in promoting a certain product.

If the customers or visitors trust you enough, then they will definitely trust your recommendations. Be very careful in using this approach, though. If you start promoting everything by recommendation, your credibility will actually wear thin. This is seen especially when recommendations are seemingly exaggerated and without much merit.

Do not be afraid to mention things that you do not like about a given product or service. Rather than lose any points for you, this will make your recommendation more realistic and will tend to increase your credibility.

Furthermore, if your visitors are really interested in what you are offering, they will be more than delighted to learn what is good about the product, what is not so good, and how the product will benefit them.

When you are recommending a certain product, there are some things to remember on how to make it work effectively and for your advantage.

Remember this simple equation: Price resistance diminishes in direct proportion to trust. How do you establish this aura of expertise? By offering unique and new solutions they would not get anywhere else. Show proof that what you are promoting works as promised. Display prominent testimonials and endorsements from respected and known personalities, in related fields of course.

Avoid hype at all costs. It is better to sound low key and confident, than to scream and seek attention. Besides, you would not want to sound unprofessional and have that thinking stick to your potential customers and clients, now would you? Best to appear cool and self-assured at the same time.

And remember; prospects are not stupid. They are actually turning to experts and may already know the things that you know. If you back up your claims with hard facts and data, they would gladly put down hundreds, or even thousands worth of money to your promotions. But if you don’t, they are smart enough to try and look at your competitors and what they are offering.

While recommending a product, it is also important that you give out promotional freebies. People are already familiar with the concept of offering freebies to promoting your won products. But very few people do this to promote affiliate products. Try to offer freebies that can promote or even have some information about your products or services.

Before you add recommendations to you product, it is given that you should try and test the product and support. Do not run the risk of promoting junk products and services. Just think how long it took you to build credibility and trust among your visitors. All that will take to destroy it is one big mistake on your part.

If possible, have recommendations of products that you have 100% confidence in. Test the product support before you begin to ensure that the people you are referring it to would not be left high and dry when a problem suddenly arouse.

Have a look at your affiliate market and look at the strategies you are using. You may not be focusing on the recommendations that your products need to have. You plan of action is sometimes not the only thing that is making your program works.

Why Am I Making Nothing Online From Affiliate Marketing?

Now, there are lots of pitfalls in the affiliate marketing business. Committing some of the most common mistakes will cost the marketers a large portion taken from the profit they are making everyday. That is why it is better to avoid them than be regretful in the end.

Mistake number 1: Choosing the wrong affiliate product.

Many people want to earn from affiliate marketing as fast as possible. In their rush to be part of one, they tend to choose a bandwagon product. This is the kind of products that the program thinks is “hot”. They choose the product that is in demand without actually considering if the product appeals to them. This is not a very wise move obviously.

Instead of jumping on the bandwagon, try top choose a product in which you are truly interested in. For any endeavor to succeed, you should take some time to plan and figure out your actions.

Pick a product that appeals to you. Then do some research about that product to see if they are in demand. Promoting a product you are more passionate about is easier than promoting one for the sake of the earnings only.

Mistake number 2: Joining too many affiliate programs.

Since affiliate programs are very easy to join, you might be tempted to join multiples of affiliate programs to try and maximize the earnings you will be getting. Besides you may think that there is nothing wrong and nothing to lose by being part of many affiliate programs.

True, that is a great way to have multiple sources of income. However, joining multiple programs and attempting to promote them all at the same time will prevent you from concentrating on each one of them.

The result? The maximum potential of your affiliate program is not realized and the income generated will not exactly be as huge as you were thinking initially it would. The best way to get excellent result is by joining just one program that pays a 40% commission at least. Then give it your best effort by promoting your products enthusiastically. As soon as you see that it is already making a reasonable profit, then maybe you can now join another affiliate program.

The technique is to do it slowly but surely. There is really no need to rush into things, especially with affiliate marketing. With the way things are going, the future is looking real bright and it seems affiliate marketing will be staying for a long time too.

Mistake number 3: Not buying the product or using the service.

As an affiliate, you main purpose is to effectively and convincingly promote a product or service and to find customers. For you to achieve this purpose, you must be able to relay to the customers that certain product and service. It is therefore difficult for you to do this when you yourself have not tried these things out. Thus, you will fail to promote and recommend them convincingly. You will also fail to create a desire in your customers to avail any of what you are offering.

Try the product or service personally first before you sign up as an affiliate to see if it is really delivering what it promises. If you have done so, then you are one of the credible and living testaments aware of its advantages and disadvantages. Your customers will then feel the sincerity and truthfulness in you and this will trigger them to try them out for themselves.

Many affiliate marketers makes these mistakes and are paying dearly for their actions. To not fall into the same situation they have been in, try to do everything to avoid making the same mistakes.
